Eric Olsen Bull Decanter

Eric Olsen Bull Decanter, Collectible Decanter, In Original Box, Designed by Eric Olsen, ca. 1960s

Collectible decanter from Double Springs Whiskey designed by the late, Haeger head designer, Eric Olsen. Based on Olsen's iconic 1950s bull statue produced by Haeger. The labels on the decanter are mostly intact,
still has original cork and is in the original box. Marked on the bottom, "Design by Eric Olsen - 1969".

Painted deep red with highlights in black. This is a great decanter that would definitely be the centerpiece of any bottle collection.

Eric Olsen served as Haeger's chief designer for 25 years, from 1947-1972. In 1955, Haeger began producing Olsen's wonderfully stylized bull and toreador figures. Olsen's bull and toreador are prized by Haeger collectors.

Decanter is in pristine shape. No cuts, scratches or chips. The paint is clean and not flaking. Cork and topper are separated as the glue has dried up over the years, but the original cork is still in place. Box is in good shape but taped on one corner by original owner.

We left the tax labels in place since they were there when we acquired the piece. You can decide if you want to keep them or not.

Dimensions: 10"L x 6"W x 6"H
